Minimum Education and Experience:  Qualified candidates must have a doctoral degree (MD, PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent), outstanding academic credentials, and completed competitive postdoctoral training with a strong publication history in the areas of structural biology, microbial pathogenesis, molecular genetics, microbiology, and biochemistry.  In addition, applicants must have demonstrated potential to obtain extramural funding for basic or translational research.
