Postdoctoral Research Fellow-Aguirre Lab
The Aguirre laboratory at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School studies the genetics and biology of gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, particularly pancreatic cancer. We utilize variety of molecular biology and genomic approaches to understand GI cancer with three major focus areas: 1) Discovery and validation of the new therapeutic targets in GI cancers; 2) Investigating RAS biology and targeting in pancreatic cancer; and 3) Understanding the genetic and phenotypic subtypes of pancreatic cancer using single cell genomic and transcriptomic analysis of tumor biopsies and patient-derived organoid models.
