Position Summary: The Yadavalli Lab at the Waksman Institute of Microbiology at Rutgers University, Piscataway, New Jersey is looking for a full-time Postdoctoral Associate. Research in Yadavalli lab broadly investigates mechanisms of the bacterial stress response. We use bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella as model organisms to study the response and changes in their gene expression to different environmental signals. Specifically, we are focused on understanding the roles of small proteins and epitranscriptomic enzymes in bacterial stress response.
