Job Duties
80% - Perform advanced proteomic and phosphoproteomic research related to prostate cancer biology using mass spectrometry, column chromatography, and other advanced laboratory research techniques as determined by PIs, protocol modifications, data analysis, and figure generation. This would include generation of excel tables, heatmaps, graphs, etc. Research duties will be performed under general supervision by PIs

10% - Literature reading and review, and staying current in proteomic/phosphoproteomic protocols. Interact with team members and collaborators to keep them up to date on their proteomic projects.

10% - Attendance in laboratory meetings, one-on-one meetings, collaborative meetings, and preparation of proteomic/phosphoproteomic data for presentation purposes for both Dr. Drake and Dr. Dehm as well as with collaborators.

Required Qualifications
Advanced Degree (MS/PhD) with at least one year of research training.
Experience in molecular biology and biochemistry research,
Experience with mass spectrometry, column chromatography, and large datasets.

Preferred Qualifications
Bioinformatics knowledge around navigating large -omic datasets
Knowledge in prostrate cancer biology or cancer biology in general, cell line culture, kinase signaling, and in vivo tumor growth models.
Familiarity with TMT labeling and other labeling techniques related to proteomic/phosphoproteomic experiments
