Post Doctoral Fellow - Pathology
We are seeking a post-doc candidate to conduct research in human and mouse Immunology while receiving advanced training from the Principal Investigator to enhance professional skills and research independence needed for pursuit of a career. The specific area of research would include HIV-1 infection and CD4 T cell homeostasis, the role of the gut microbiota in shaping HIV-1 reservoir and CD4 T cell maintenance. Mice systems will be used to address specific questions related to the role of gut-derived solutes on CD4 T cell behavior and differentiation. Designs and evaluates experiments.
