Our research focus on investigating the role of non-coding RNA in polycystic kidney disease (PKD). We utilize multiple mouse model of the disease to investigate how non-coding RNA affect formation and progression of PKD. Our work include generating mouse models of PKD and performing molecular and physiological analysis to determine the contribution of non-coding RNA in PKD.Job Duties/Responsibilities:70% Conducting experiments in collaboration with lab staff• Perform complex assays such as Cross-linking RNA immunoprecipitation (ChIRP), as well novel procedures that include gene manipulation in kidney organoid.• Ability to work with viruses, learn and implement latest gene editing technologies.• Perform DNA cloning to generate plasmids
