Scheduled Hours40Position SummaryThe Sardiello laboratory uses mouse models of human genetic disease to investigate the cellular and molecular causes of the disease and identify and test candidate therapeutic targets. The lab also studies various cellular pathways (with a special focus on lysosomal degradation and autophagy) using unique cell systems developed in the past years. The Research Assistant will actively participate in most lab projects by managing the mouse colony and assisting with experiments in cell biology and molecular biology (DNA extraction, PCR, plasmid preparation, cell transfection, Western blot, etc.).
