Physician Scientists in Pathology
The Department of Pathology at Yale School of Medicine invites applications from candidates with an MD/PhD or equivalent degree for a full-time appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level on physician scientist track. Recruits must be board certified by American Board of Pathology. Previous signout experience in any area of surgical pathology is preferred. The successful candidates will be positioned to establish an innovative basic and/or translational research program centered on disease mechanisms. The candidates are expected to maintain a vigorous externally funded research program that complements those of current faculty and builds on existing strengths.
