Erlanger Health seeks a Pediatric Geneticist to join our Children's Hospital team. Located in the beautiful city of Chattanooga, TN the ideal candidate would have a passion for improving pediatric health with some experience in metabolic disorders.
Education, Training, & Experience
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Genetics
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Tennessee
Preferred: Additional training in Metabolic Disorders
About Our Program & Children's Hospital at Erlanger Services
Current practice includes one geneticist, 1.5 genetic counselors, and one genetic counseling assistant
This is majority an outpatient position with about 10% inpatient duties
On-site Pediatric Trauma Team
17-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, ECMO and trauma certified
43 in-patient beds plus 2-bed EMU with over 5,000 admissions last year
Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with 64 beds
32-bed Pediatric Emergency Department with over 40,000 visits each year
Broad pediatric specialty platform includes all essential medical and surgical specialties for consultative support
