Job Description The laboratory of Dr. Huiping Zhang in the Departments of Psychiatry and Medicine (Biomedical Genetics) at Boston University Medical Campus is looking for highly motivated postdoctoral research associates to conduct NIH R01-funded research projects. The aim of the research is to understand the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms of mental disorders, particularly substance use disorders. Specifically, Dr. Zhang is interested in studying brain DNA methylation, RNA methylation, and noncoding RNA expression changes associated with mental disorders.
Required Skills
PhD in Genetics/Epigenetics, Cell Biology, Bioinformatics or a related field;
Knowledge and techniques in transcriptomic, epigenomic, and epitranscriptomic data analysis or CRISPR/Cas9 (or dCas9) genome editing;
Sound verbal and written communication skills.
