The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California is seeking to fill a full-time faculty position (assistant/associate/professor) with an outstanding, academically-oriented candidate with demonstrated diagnostic expertise in hematopathology and molecular genetic pathology.Â The successful candidate will serve the needs of a busy practice at USC/Norris Cancer Hospital and Research Institute with an active stem cell transplantation program and expanding molecular hematopathology, LAC+USC Medical Center, and Keck Hospital of USC.Â The appointee will contribute to the education of medical students, pathology residents, and hematopathology fellows.Â Excellent opportunities for collaborative research exist on the Keck School of Medicine campus, as well as at Childrenâs Hospital of Los Angeles.
Applicants must hold an MD or DO degree, be eligible for an unrestricted California Medical License and be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology, Hematopathology, and preferably Molecular Genetic Pathology.Â The Department values experience in translational and/or clinical research. The appointment will be in the Clinical.Â Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications.
