The Padmanabhan Lab in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Maryland Baltimore County is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and ambitious postdoctoral fellow to join the group. The postdoctoral fellow will work with a team of scientists on research projects aimed at understanding cancer cell intrinsic and extrinsic factors that promotes ovarian cancer metastasis and develop novel therapeutic strategies to target this deadly disease.
Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D. in cancer biology, immunology, cell and molecular biology or related fields. Experience working with mice, flow cytometry, transcriptomics (including bioinformatic analysis), confocal microscopy, and histology/immunohistochemistry are desirable. Successful candidates will also have excellent communication skills and demonstrated record of publications.
