POSITION SUMMARY
MGH Institute of Health Professions invites applications for a 12-month, full time Assistant Professor / Associate Professor to join our Department of Occupational Therapy. This position offers the right candidate excellent opportunities to collaborate with clinical partners and interprofessional colleagues in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and the School of Nursing.
Responsibilities include:
Teaching in our top-ranked US News World Report Entry - Level Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program, scholarship,
Supervising student research,
Advising graduate students,
Provide service to the department, Institute, and community.
This faculty member must have expertise in care of adult clients with cognitive disabilities and/or neurological conditions.
Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS:
Clinical and didactic teaching experience of three - five years is desired. Candidates must possess an earned post professional doctorate (PhD, EdD, ScD preferred) and have clinical expertise in the area of adult rehabilitation in cognitive or neurological recovery. Current occupational therapy license or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts is required. Rank and salary commensurate with experience.
