Position Announcement:
The Michaels lab has an opening for a full-time Research Associate (https://biology.indiana.edu/about/faculty/michaels-scott.html). Our laboratory studies gene regulation and epigenetics, primarily in the model plant Arabidopsis. Applicants should be proficient in molecular biology techniques, such as cloning, western blotting, and PCR. No previous experience with plants is needed. Responsibilities will include research projects, lab organization, and working with/training undergraduate and graduate students.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in biology, chemistry, or related area is required; PhD is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience.
