The Iris Meier Lab at The Ohio State University is seeking a motivated and experienced Research Senior Associate to work in the Department of Molecular Genetics in Columbus, Ohio. The candidate will be involved in research in Arabidopsis thaliana nuclear envelope biology using molecular genetics and cell biological techniques. Independently work on preparation of manuscripts and oral presentations at conferences. Assists in grant proposal preparation and writing of annual reports for granting agency. Operation and oversight of confocal microscopy workstation for Department of Molecular Genetics. Training of confocal users in Department of Molecular Genetics. Communication with Nikon for confocal microscopy training and upkeep. Oversight of undergraduate research assistants in Meier lab.
