Academic Clinical Cytogeneticist
The Department of Pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is recruiting a full-time Assistant Laboratory Director for its Cytogenetics Laboratory. Applicants must hold an MD, MD/PhD or PhD and be board certified in Clinical Cytogenetics and Molecular Genetics/Pathology. The position involves co-direction of a comprehensive cytogenetics laboratory including chromosome analysis, FISH, and chromosomal microarray on neoplastic and constitutional specimens. Continuous development and implementation of new cutting-edge cytogenetic tests and technology platforms will be an important component of this position. The Department of Pathology at BIDMC is in the process undertaking major expansion in Molecular Diagnostics, Digital Pathology, and Computational Pathology.
