Vacancy ID: FAC0005028Position Summary/Description: The Division of Genetics and Metabolism in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (www.med.unc.edu/pediatrics/gene) seeks an ABGC or ABMG certified/eligible genetic counselor. This is a fixed-term, open-rank faculty recruitment. The primary function of this role is to support the mission of the Division by providing comprehensive genetic counseling services to patients and families. Responsibilities include conducting patient intakes, synthesizing and summarizing complex medical histories, utilizing current published literature and genetic databases to assist with interpreting genetic testing result
