Research Lab Tech I
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Lab Technician I to assist with basic and translational research projects in the laboratory of Dr. Alex Bonnin, Dept. of Physiology and Neuroscience located at the Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute, University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine.The lab is supported by federally funded (NIH) and foundation grants. The primary project focuses on investigating the developmental mechanisms by which inflammation leads to neurological disorders later in life, using a mouse model. Proficiency in rodent models, molecular and cellular techniques including immunohistochemistry, PCR and in vitro primary culture work is preferred. Experience with mouse surgery and/or behavioral studies is a plus.Provides basic technical
