Research Teaching Specialist V
Position Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Research Teaching Specialist V for NJMS- Microbiology, Biochemistry & Molecular Genetics / Center for Emerging & Re-emerging Pathogens. Under the direction and mentorship of Dr. Samantha Bell, Principal Investigator, the Research Teaching Specialist contributes to investigations of interactions between macrophages and Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The major focus is understanding the initiation, progression, and resolution of innate immune responses triggered during infection and how M. tuberculosis evades these responses. A combination of host and bacterial genetics, cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and mouse infection models will be used to investigat
