Post-Doctoral Associate - The Hormel Institute (Biology, Biochemistry & Cell Biology)
The research of the lab focuses on the role of transcriptome stability in metabolic homeostasis. We have built a comprehensive research platform centering on metabolic physiology study, complemented by bioinformatic analysis and RNA molecular biology. The individual will be expected to establish the exact molecular mechanisms governing metabolism, thereby facilitating the development of new therapies for obesity-related diseases. As the population of obesity is increasing in many countries, much interest have been attracted to understand the mechanism underlying obesity and its related metabolic diseases. The current understanding of these questions is mainly at the transcriptional regulation and protein signal pathway levels. However, we do not understand how posttranscripti
