Postdoctoral Fellow
Department OverviewWe are seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar to join the laboratory of Dr. Aaron Grossberg, part of the Brenden-Colson Center for Pancreatic Care and the Knight Cancer Institute at Oregon Health & Science University. The Grossberg Laboratory is interested in understanding how cancer disrupts normal whole-body metabolism, with a specific emphasis on the cancer-associated wasting syndrome, cachexia. Our research focuses on the mechanisms by which pancreatic cancer influence metabolic programming in the liver, fat, and muscle. We use a multidisciplinary approach to investigate the communication network of the tumor macroenvironment, including mouse models of cancer, metabolomics, epigenetics, rigorous behavioral and physiologic measures, and
