Research Lab Technician I
The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is seeking a Research Lab Technician I to join its team. The Research Lab Technician will assist various research projects to understand molecular mechanisms of human diseases. The position may require occasional flexible work hours depending on the demands of the experimental protocols and processing timelines.Responsibilities: Perform genomic and epigenomic experiments using molecular biology techniques in human cellsExecute experiments with the use of antibodies (western blots, immunoprecipitations, etc) and with standard molecular biology techniques (such as PCR amplification, DNA extraction, cloning, transfection, and gel electrophoresis)
