Department/Area: Oral Medicine, Infection, and Immunity
The Cui Lab is accepting applications for a BS/MS level research associate position to assist with our laboratory's immunology research. The associate will be performing a range of experiments to study immune cell responses to diseases and drug treatments, such as animal immunization, gene expression measurements, protein measurements, cell culture, etc. The associate with work collaboratively with research fellows, computational staff, and clinicians. The associate will also help maintain laboratory operations including managing supplies and making purchase orders. The position is ideal for individuals interested in gaining additional laboratory experience before applying for graduate school or medical/dental school.
Bachelor's degree in biology or an equivalent field with 1+ years of laboratory experience. The experience can come from undergraduate research. The candidate should be comfortable doing animal work.
The candidate should have great hands-on skills with strong work ethic and attention to detail.
