INTRODUCTIONThe Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of Connecticut in Storrs invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor within the Behavioral Neuroscience program. We seek a candidate with demonstrated scholarly interest in translational neuroscience using cutting-edge, laboratory-based techniques (e.g., optogenetics, chemo-genetics, calcium imaging, molecular/genetic methods, high-density electrophysiological recording techniques) examining function within brain circuits in animal models.We are particularly interested in applicants whose research, theoretically, logistically, quantitatively can link to UConn's strengths in physiology and neurobiology, pharmacy, systems neurosci
