New York UniversityThe Department of Anthropology at New York University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in Biological Anthropology at the level of Assistant Professor. The appointment will begin September 1, 2023, subject to administrative and budgetary approval.We seek a scholar who combines work with human or nonhuman primates with components of the "omics," broadly defined. The ideal candidate will combine laboratory work in areas such as genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics, with long-term field research on primates or collaborative work with descendant communities.
