Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics The Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) Center for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (CCBB) and Indiana Center for Musculoskeletal Health (ICMH) on the Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) campus are currently recruiting for a joint position in musculoskeletal informatics. The appointment will be a full-time (1.0 FTE) tenure-track position at the rank of assistant/associate/full Professor level with affiliations in the CCBB and ICMH. The qualified candidate will have research interests in musculoskeletal health bio and/or medical informatics and will be expected to establish a research program with extramural funding, work in existing research initiatives and collaborate with investigators in the ICMH and CCBB. The individual will be provided a competitive salary, office, space, and start-up package, and access to CCBB and ICMH resources. Potential recruitments through the CCBB/ICMH partnership should align with the areas of interest for the ICMH, which include skeletal biology, skeletal muscle physiology, musculoskeletal imaging, and muscle-bone mechanical and endocrine interactions. Other expectations of this position include didactic instruction aligned with the candidate's interests, performance necessary to implement the educational and academic objectives of the ICMH and CCBB, mentoring of graduate students and their research projects, and engagement in university service at the department, school, and university levels. Doctorate or Terminal degree is required. A PhD, MD, or equivalent and evidence of expertise in informatics.
