The Beltran Lab is focused on understanding mechanisms of treatment resistance in advanced prostate cancer through integration of clinical and molecular features of patients combined with preclinical modeling. We have used genomics and epigenomics to elucidate the molecular mechanisms driving lineage plasticity and evolution towards an androgen indifferent state. We are developing tissue and circulating biomarkers and novel therapeutic strategies for clinical translation. The Beltran Laboratory is seeking to recruit an outstanding candidate to manage the lab.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
??? Participate in grant preparation, manuscript writing, progress reports, and generation of research presentations for scientific conferences.
??? Organize and schedule lab meetings, staff onboarding, and ensure compliance with all lab safety guidelines.
??? Organize the lab space, ensure equipment and software maintenance, and order supplies.
??? Assist in the generation and maintenance of research tools, and have general knowledge of either molecular or computational biology techniques.

• Candidate must possess a baccalaureate degree or at least 4 years of relevant research experience.
• He/she needs to be self-motivated, a fast learner, critical thinker, and enthusiastic about science and medicine.
• Work well as part of a team and have outstanding written and oral communication skills.??
• Manage federal funds, and prioritize tasks while meeting multiple deadlines.
