Assistant Specialist Department of Medicine Description Job Description: The Wang lab in the Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology at UCSF is looking to appoint an Assistant Specialist to manage a funded laboratory research project. The project is to generate a single cell resolution map of the mammalian liver during homeostasis and injury. It involves using a variety of laboratory techniques including single cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics to identify and characterize novel cell populations and to understand their interactions with each other in the liver during homeostasis and disease.
