The Department of Preventive Medicine is in search of a post-doctoral fellow.We seek a motivated post-doctoral fellow to join our ongoing studies on the cancer-causing potential of new and emerging tobacco products, including electronic cigarettes and heat-not-burn devices. Candidates are expected to have working knowledge of routine molecular biology techniques used for cancer genetic or epigenetic studies. Hands-on experience with assays that detect DNA damage/repair, mutation, DNA methylation, and/or histone modifications is a plus. Priority will be given to those who have prior work experience with microarray- or next generation sequencing-based platforms. Candidates with successful publication record in scholarly journals are preferred.
