Summary Description:The Department of Medicine at Columbia University has an immediate opening for a highly motivated postdoctoral research scientist in the laboratory of Dr. Gulam Manji, MD/PhD. The position requires interest in oncology, immunotherapy, cancer genetics, and translational clinical programs with a focus on treatment resistance in solid malignancies.The laboratory and clinical research efforts aim at identifying mechanisms of resistance to treatment with combination checkpoint blockade, and development of novel treatments/combinations and biomarkers, and identify novel targets for potential therapeutics.Working with leading academic clinicians and basic scientists, the successful candidate will be at the intersection of genetics, tumo
