The Department of Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University invites applications for a full-time visiting research scholar position in Dr. Shanlin Kes lab. The overarching goal of Dr. Kes lab is to develop computational approaches and leveraging bioinformatics tools, metagenomic sequencing, multi-omics data, machine learning, and wet-lab techniques to investigate the role of the human microbiome in human health and diseases and to develop microbiome-based therapeutics. The candidate will have the opportunity to learn and lead exciting research projects that integrate computational and experimental approaches to study host-microbiota interactions in pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer.Required Qualification:A minimum of a bachelors
