Position Summary: This Research Assistant will assist in the design, performance and analysis of experiments to investigate the molecular biology, pathogenesis and immunology of Streptococcus pneumoniae, focusing on regulation of gene expression, immune responses and protection against disease. The position involves the use of microbiological, molecular biological and biochemical techniques and requires a basic knowledge in these fields. The position will also have the responsibility to maintain and order reagents, stocks and supplies.
