The University of Chicago's Department of Pathology is searching for full-time faculty members at the rank of Assistant Professor at the Hyde Park campus. Appointees will possess the vision and expertise necessary to integrate cutting-edge diagnostic/clinical service with an innovative program in research and education. They will be involved in sign-out of a broad scope of molecular diagnostics tests and have time and resources to participate in new test development and translational research. Appointees will report to the Vice Chair for Clinical Genomics. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications. These positi
