The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, is seeking a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD academic Clinical Cytogeneticist for a tenure-track/tenured, fixed-term, or variable track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.  The UNC Hospitals Clinical Cytogenetics Laboratory is a full-service laboratory which performs both constitutional (prenatal and postnatal) and cancer cytogenetic testing on approximately 4,500 cases annually.  Responsibilities of this position will include oversight and direction of the day-to-day operations of the clinical cytogenetics diagnostic service, laboratory case sign-out (conventional cytogenetics, FISH, and SNP microarray), technical and analytical troubleshooting,
