The University at Buffalo, State University of New York, is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral associate in genomics to join the Buck Lab in the Department of Biochemistry.
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative postdoctoral researcher to join our team investigating the mechanisms of transcription factor (TF) binding to nucleosomal DNA. This position is supported by a funded MIRA grant focused on understanding how TFs, particularly pioneer factors, engage with inaccessible chromatin regions and initiate gene regulation.
Job Duties Include:
Design and execute experiments using Pioneer-seq and genomics assays (e.g., ChIP-seq, ChIP-exo, MNase-seq, HiC, RNA-seq)
Analyze high-throughput sequencing data and contribute to computational modeling of TF binding
