Position Summary The Research Associate will contribute to a multidisciplinary program with two primary objectives. The first objective is to conduct a comparative analysis of Holstein and Jersey cattle. This includes evaluating genetic differences using SNP chip data and comparing milk production, milk composition, fertility, and adaptability to diverse environmental conditions. The research aims to identify traits unique to the Jersey breed, assess their advantages and disadvantages relative to Holstein, and develop an industrialization model for Jersey cows in Korea informed by best practice cases from the United States.
