USCs Keck School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, is seeking a Research Lab Technician II to join its team at the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension lab. The position will perform a wide range of duties in support of our kidney research program. The duties include mouse husbandry procedures including, but not limited to, maintenance of breeding colonies, weaning of litters, mouse identification, collection of tissue, blood, and urine, and maintenance of records in a computer database. In addition, the position will assist in planning, performance, and interpretation of animal studies. Experimental techniques including mouse surgeries, immunofluorescence, Western blotting, genotyping, quantitative PCR, bioinformatics, and advance tissue clearing approaches may also be performed
