We are seeking a PRN Genetic Counselor who will provide direct patient care at least one day per week, seeing patients either in person/in office, or via telemedicine seated at an office at the hospital. Direct patent care includes genetic counseling, patient education, and other services, such as eliciting/updating and assessing personal and family histories, discussing risk assessment, recurrence risk, genetic concepts, and natural history of disease, discussing/coordinating genetic testing and potential results of testing, and performing psychosocial assessment and providing support services.
