Technician III - Department of Molecular Biology & Genetics (CAS) The lab of Maria Angelica Bravo Nunez in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics is seeking a highly motivated candidate to work in a research lab dedicated to studying chromosome segregation in the budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Primary responsibility will be assisting in the research activities in the lab. Specifically, the individual will be responsible for preparing reagents and media, modifying yeast strains, generate crosses with yeasts strain using tetrad dissection, performing microscopy analyses of yeast mutant strains, and analyzing long and short sequencing data.
