The Department of Genetic Medicine is seeking a Research Technologist who will join a team developing precision medicine therapies for Cystic Fibrosis. The Research Technologist will participate in developing and testing gene therapy methods including gene editing studies using CRISPR/Cas9. Under the supervision of a faculty investigator, the Research Technologist will be responsible for independently performing routine analyses and tests on animal or human fluids and/or tissue or cultured cell lines. Work requires basic and advanced use of scientific methods, procedures and techniques gained through previous training and experience.
