Job Summary: A Scientist position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Jingshing Wu located in Department of Pediatrics at the School of Medicine and Public Health, University of Wisconsin-Madison. Research in the Wu Lab focuses on studying genetic/epigenetic regulation of cardiac development, environmental regulation of cardiac development, and neonatal cardiac regeneration. The lab uses mice and stem cells as model systems, generating high throughput genomic experiments (RNA-sequencing), proteomic experiments (mass spectrometry), and functional studies (calcium imaging, Langendorff technique). Knowledge gained from these experiments will advance our understanding of cardiogenesis and improve our ability to develop therapeut
