POSTDOCTORAL SCHOLAR - TRANSLATIONAL ERG RESEARCH
A Postdoctoral Scholar position is available in Translational Electrophysiology Research with Dr. Arlene Drack in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science. Our lab has successfully rescued retinal degeneration in a mouse model of human disease, and we plan to expand the diseases we can rescue. The successful candidate will lead studies on gene transfer and other preclinical treatment trials in mouse models of human genetic retinal disorders, collect data and perform analysis of clinical data from human patients with the disorders studied, and ultimately help move treatments to human clinical trials.
