Postdoctoral Associate
POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences, to join an academic team working to develop frameworks and approaches for studying metabolic evolution and how it drives self-organization of microbial ecosystems and ocean biogeochemical cycles. Will work on a project focusing on metabolic pathways for degrading organic carbon, which control the return of CO2 from the ocean to the atmosphere. This is an opportunity to be part of a team science effort to understand chemical dynamics on timescales spanning hours to years (potentially extending to geologic timescales) and from the level of cells to global biogeochemical cycles.
