Job Description:The Research Assistant will conduct experiments in the field of spatial regulation of gene expression, specifically identifying possible RNA-binding protein (RBP) that regulates RNA localization.The Research Assistant will assist the PI in experiments involving general molecular biology procedures, cell culture, and basic laboratory management. The Research Assistant will also learn and apply a methodology to map RNA-RBP interactions. The primary purpose of this position is to help the lab make progress toward its research goals of dissecting spatial regulation of gene expression.
