DescriptionUnder the supervision of the Sr. Genetic Counselor and IPH Project Manager, the Genetic Counseling Assistant (GCA) plays a key role in supporting the ATLAS Genetic Screening Program (GSP), which is a large-scale, system-wide initiative at UCLA Health focused on identifying and returning medically actionable genetic findings to patients. The GCA is instrumental in coordinating the logistics of the ATLAS GSP, including patient outreach, data entry, follow-up, and workflow optimization. In addition, the GCA may support other genetics clinics as needed, contributing to a collaborative team environment, and helping to streamline clinical operations while ensuring a patient-centered experience.
