Clinical responsibilities may include review, interpretation, and sign-out of DNA- and RNA-based molecular assays, including massively parallel sequencing and targeted molecular pathology assays, as well as cytogenetics for candidates who are appropriately certified. Additional responsibilities will include participation in the design, validation, and implementation of new tests in the Division of Precision and Computational Diagnostics. Experience in the development of molecular genomic assays, especially laboratory-developed tests (LDTs), is desirable. Periodic interaction with divisional, departmental, and enterprise-wide faculty and staff for collaborations and/or communications relevant to the clinical laboratory will be required.
