The laboratory of Dr. Liu at the Department of Biology, Saint Louis University, St. Louis, MO, USA, seeks two highly motivated postdoctoral researcher associates to study the structure and function of proteins involved in photophysics and photochemistry in both oxygenic photosynthesis, such as cyanobacteria andhigher plants as well as anoxygenic photosynthesis (green sulfur bacteria, GSB).Candidates with training in molecular biology and structural biology, are encouraged to apply. Experience with protein expression and protein purification/isolation are required. Bioinformatics and structural modelling are also desirable.
