Emory University Hematopathologist - Molecular Genetic Pathologist
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine seeks a full-time faculty member who is board-certified or board-eligible in both Hematopathology and Molecular Genetic Pathology, at a rank from Assistant to full Professor. The successful candidate will join the expanding Section of Hematopathology within the Division of Clinical Pathology. Based at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA, Hematopathology faculty currently handle approximately 4500 in-house bone marrow/lymph node specimens and 1500 outside/expert consultation cases annually. These activities support Emory’s multi-hospital healthcare system, the Winship Cancer Institute (Georgia’s only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center), as well as several community hospitals throughout
