Job SummaryThe Museum of Comparative Zoology is seeking a Research Scientist to collaboratively design high-throughput imaging systems for specimen-based data, based on experience collecting and analyzing specimen-based data and literature best practices. Develop and apply matching analytical tools to manage, parse, and analyze specimen-based data generated by these high-throughput specimen digitization platforms. This includes developing algorithms for specimen morphometrics, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling of specimen taxonomy or functional traits as well as developing intuitive data hosting and visualization solutions that increase the usability of these data.
