The Research Lead Technician will conduct and oversee independent studies and lead the design and implementation of funded laboratory projects. These studies will involve yeast genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, microscopy, and image processing and analysis. The Lead Technician will coordinate, influence, and review the work of others which includes oversight of undergraduate students and existing lab staff. They will oversee preliminary statistical analyses and prepare final research reports, graphs, and scientific manuscripts for publication.
